Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 4, 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Ioddy("iOddy", "we", "us", or "our"), of 30 N. Gould St., Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the iOddy website, applications, and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here and in our Terms of Service.

2. Information We Collect

Account & contact information — your name, email address, and phone number, collected when you subscribe to a plan or create an account.

Billing information — your chosen plan, billing interval, subscription status, and payment amounts. Card and payment details are collected and processed directly by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.

Questions & chat content — the questions you submit, messages exchanged with experts, and any images or videos you share in a chat.

Technical & usage data — IP address, browser and device information, and how you interact with the Service, collected automatically for security and reliability.

Communications — emails we send you (e.g. account setup, notifications), and any messages you send us for support.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information above to:

  • create and manage your account and subscription;
  • connect you with an appropriate expert and route your questions;
  • process payments, renewals, and cancellations through Stripe;
  • send account, billing, and service-related communications;
  • maintain the security, integrity, and reliability of the Service; and
  • comply with legal obligations.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:

  • Experts you choose to chat with, limited to what is needed to answer your question;
  • Service providers who process data on our behalf: Stripe (payments and billing), Firebase / Google Cloud (accounts and data storage), Cloudinary (image and video hosting), Google Gemini (used to help route a question to the right category), and our email delivery provider (transactional email);
  • Legal & safety — where required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of iOddy, our users, or the public; and
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

5. Payments, Cancellation & Auto-Renewal

All payments on iOddy are processed through Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. We do not store your full card number — Stripe collects and secures your payment details directly.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You can cancel your subscription at any time, and you can view your plan, renewal date, and auto-renewal status, and turn auto-renewal on or off, by logging into your iOddy account at ioddy.com/chat. If you cancel or turn off auto-renewal, your plan remains active through the end of the period you already paid for.

Because our experts' time is committed once a question is answered, we do not provide refunds once the service has been availed (i.e. once an expert has responded to your question).

6. Cookies & Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies (including those set by Firebase Authentication) to keep you signed in and to remember your session. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect your ability to use parts of the Service.

7. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account as described below.

8. Your Rights & Choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or ask us to stop processing it, by emailing info@ioddy.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) or other applicable privacy laws; we will respond to verified requests in accordance with those laws.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. International Data Transfers

We are based in the United States, and information we collect is processed and stored in the United States (and by our service providers' infrastructure, which may be located elsewhere). By using the Service, you consent to this transfer and processing.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date below and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
